Have you ever read Killing Yourself to Live by Chuck Klosterman… I am not a music buff and would never pick a book or something to read because it was about music, but I happened to read that book years ago, and have read it several times since, because it became one of my favorite books in the world and much of it surrounds music and musicians among many other things — don’t know why but your post made me think of it and think you might enjoy it!!
